DELIVERY
Our courier company offers a door-to-door delivery service. Orders are dispatched within 3-5 working days from payment confirmation. Once dispatched, you will be notified via email of the tracking number which can then be used to track the progress of the delivery. If for whatever reason, you refused delivery of the package, you will be charged for the return shipping. We assume no liability for orders shipped to incomplete or incorrect shipping addresses supplied by our customers. Any additional fees for such orders will be the responsibility of the customer. We will not be responsible for any lost or stolen merchandise. It is the responsibility of the customer to contact the courier company about any loss or delivery disputes. We will assist where possible to aid our customers disputes with the courier company.
PERSONALISED ITEMS
Personalised items have a ten working day lead time. It is your responsibility to ensure that all information supplied for personalised items are correct at the time of placing the order. We will not be held liable for misspellings due to autocorrections, or for any other reasons. If there are any typographical errors when placing order, please email hello@cakecard.co.za or send us a direct message to @cakecard.za on Instagram – we will do our best to cater for the corrections. Correspondence via Facebook and/or other communication methods not listed above may not be attended to in a timely manner.
DAMAGED ITEMS
We take utmost care when packing your order, however if any item within the box is damaged, please reach out to us within 24 hours of receiving the order so that we can arrange a replacement. Email hello@cakecard.co.za providing us with the order number and clear photos of the damaged items. Correspondence via any other communication methods not listed above will not be attended to in a timely manner.
RETURNS
Due to the nature of our catalogue, we do not accept returns, it is the responsibility of our customers to choose their items carefully. If you are not entirely happy with the contents of your order, please email hello@cakecard.co.za within 24 hours of receiving the order so that we can better understand your need to return the order. Ensure that you include your order number as well as any relevant pictures and a detailed reason for the return. If your return is approved, the box including all contents (including any free products, coupons and/or samples) must be returned to us within seven calendar days following confirmation of the return. The box and all products contained within it must be unopened, unassembled, unused and in a sellable condition. Products showing signs of use, tampering or breakages of seals as well as missing labels are not considered new and are thus considered non-returnable. You are responsible for return shipping charges. Once we have received your item, it will be assessed and you will receive a replacement item or voucher to choose something else from the store, we do not process refunds. Personalised items cannot be returned, please ensure that you have captured your personalised details accurately when placing the order.
PAYMENT
Payments are processed through Payfast. Please note that orders will only be processed when payments have cleared. If you experience any technical issues while processing the payment, ensure that you take screenshots of any error messages received and track the status of your payment on your bank statement. If the payment is unsuccessful, your order will not be processed – email hello@cakecard.co.za should you require any assistance with payment related issues.
DISCOUNTS CODES & GIFT CARDS
If gift cards are used to pay for shipping fees, please note that we cannot refund these amounts in the event of a return. Please email hello@cakecard.co.za as these matters will be handled on a case by case bases. Gift cards are non-refundable once purchased and must be used within the validity period (usually six months from date of purchase) We reserve the right to enable or disable the use of discount codes on promotional items.

We accept no liability for the safety, reliability, durability and performance of any of the products in our catalogue, all products are to be used at own risk. The products in our catalogue are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any illness or disease; they have also not been assessed by the FDA, SAHPRA or Medicines Control Council. We will not be held responsible or liable for any damages or harm which may arise from the use of the products in our catalogue. It is the customers/users responsibility to consult with a medical professional before using any products they are unsure of. While this online store is operational 24/7, our standard operational hours are Monday to Thursday from 9am to 3pm.
